Just added - pictures from a recent "City Break" to Malaga

Malaga and Surrounding Area

February 2020. Despite the early time of year it was warm and sunny during the day. A little too cold to sit outside in the evenings, when it also became quite windy.

We travelled down to Edinburgh on the bus. We  had lunch at the National Portrait Gallery, and after dropping our luggage at our hotel next tot he airport we went back to the city. We met up with Christopher at a pub near Waverley and then had dinner at Rollo before returning to the hotel in the evening.

An early departure from the hotel and a short walk from the hotel over to the terminal. We were through the formalities fairly quickly and in departures to our surprise we were met by Pamela And Christopher. We arrived on Malaga about lunch time. After check in at our hotels we set off to have a walk around the neighbourhood and to look for tapas for a late lunch. A pigeon got a fright from a dog and in its confusuion accidentally landed in my beer galss.

We spent a couple of days visiting the nearby toens of Puerto Banus and Nerja but spent the rest of he time in Malaga itself. Aprt from the day we arrived it was warm and sunny during the day, around 23 degrees. Cool in the evenings, and sometimes quite breezy.

Our hotel was conveniently situated close to the beach and the Marina and a short walk from the city centre.
