Lenno is a village on the west bank of Lake Como, towards the top end of the Como branch of the Lake. Lenno is a stop on the ferry routes and has a number of hotels. This is the Southern end of the "Middle Lake" area. The main tourist attraction is the Villa Balbionello. The villa aside it has an attractive Lake front and the Lido di Lenno with a small artificial beach. The "Fabbrica del Gelato" next to the lake front has the best ice cream anywhere around Lake Como (in my opinion).
