Tremezzo is more or less half way up the Lake on the West shore. It is on the main road leading up the west shore and has a number of hotels and a few shops. Away from the shore and the lake there is a picturesque village. The Villa Carlotta and the Grand Hotel Tremezzo are both located here. The Greenway, a signposted walk from Ossuccio to Cadenabbia, passes through Tremezzo towards the nortehr end of the walk.
